Overview and Architecture of Janssen

Janssen is a self-funded project chartered directly under the Linux Foundation to foster the development of enterprise digital identity and access management infrastructure. The project traces its technical heritage to proven production foundations. The initial software contribution for the Janssen Project was a fork of the Gluu Server version 4.

For organizations requiring dedicated commercial enterprise support, Gluu offers a commercial distribution of Janssen Project Components called Gluu Flex and Gluu Solo.

Core Identity Protocols and User Services

Janssen provides a complete implementation of OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML 2.0, FIDO2, SCIM, and UMA 2.0.

The Casa self-service portal empowers users to manage their credentials, enroll devices, and handle account recovery. Agama's drag-and-drop designer enables complex authentication workflows without coding.
